Maggie Svoboda is a photographer, photo editor, and producer currently based in Austin, Texas. A Nebraska native, she started her career as a fine art painter working on large installations before transitioning into documentary photography and content production. She completed a certificate program in photojournalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark and currently works as a photo editor at Human Rights Watch. She has eight years of experience crafting impactful stories that can be shared on multiple digital platforms and is available for assignments in Texas and beyond.
